"Perception is key" and "Everything is in relationship every time". This is how a colleague started her presentation in Lisbon. My first thought was: Yes! That sounds like shamanic knowledge, the second doubtful: "well, is it really like that?"
When I relate - how do I sense that?
In the microcosm of the physical body, the different systems are related to each other: meanwhile, research also speaks of an abdominal brain, feels this shock, sends it an´s brain stem impulses, which hormones it needs. The connection between brain and abdomen reacts immediately, they are promptly released.
Our breathing and our heart are closely connected.
In addition, ideas and emotions are connected with the physical body: I can inhale qualities such as love, peace, gratitude and thus influence my breathing and heartbeat.
On the other hand, if I imagine things fearfully, fear can become reality and trigger chemical processes.
If my earliest memories are flooded with insecurity and attachment anxiety, in the worst case decades later they can lead to physical or mental illness (ACE Study).
Chinese medicine assigns the 5 elements to the different body systems, which are each assigned to organs. These all communicate with each other, vibrate with each other.
Much of this I can perceive and thereby experience relationship.
Do I feel relationship?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no...
How fast am I in a touching encounter deep in my body and thus in resonance and relationship, how fast again everything seems to run parallel to each other and I am dissociated.
Today I feel deeply connected with the sea and immediately afterwards I buy a plastic bag...
When I am deeply immersed in bodywork, present, I experience the inner relationships.
When I give TRE sessions, I see and feel the reflex, I see how joints react to each other, the cervical spine and lumbar spine, see/feel your and feel my pulsation. From the beginning I felt this as a huge gift.
When I look deep into and onto the ocean, I feel the effect that this power has on my bodies. We are in relationship. Moments that we vibrate together, embedded in simultaneous silence. That changes, expands, delights me.
This leads to gratitude and responsibility:
For the health and well-being of my body
For my interactions with other people as well as with the element water, nature, our habitat.
What is your experience? When and where do you experience relationships? Within yourself, with others, with that, what is bigger than us?
If we come from frightening, dependent, fearful relationships, it is a way to feel yourself again. In careful steps it is possible to let fear and obstacles be solved. It is worth the patience!
"The body communicates with itself" (Dr. David Berceli ) We go out of the way when we let the body do that!
